Rahul and Dhawan Both Get Tattoos On Legs After Kohli Said We Need Opener Who Is Strong On Leg Side
In the first ODI of India and Australia, Australia defeated India by ten wickets, taking a lead of 1-0. India and Australia will again lock horns on January 17 in 2nd ODI. While the visitors have a fair idea about their combinations, the Men in Blue are left with a happy headache of the top order.
Both Dhawan and Rahul are in good form and it will be tough to drop anyone from the team. But Kohli found a solution to that in net practice. He told the team that he needs an opener who is strong on the leg side to compliment Rohit Sharma who is strong on the offside.
As soon as both Rahul and Dhawan heard this, they went to the tattoo parlour and got tattoos on their legs. They were sure that selection criteria in this Indian team is tattoo. Hardik Pandya is the best example of that. The ball is in Kohli’s court to find out who has a better or let’s say a bigger tattoo.
But Kohli blasted both the openers saying that he was asking about their playing style on the leg side and not tattoos. He seems to be so angry that both Rahul and Dhawan might not play the first match and Kedar Jadhav whose form is terrible may get a look in.
