Protestor admitted due to acidity after Sikh guy fed him 44 cups of tea
Students and protesters from various universities and organizations gathered near Jantar Mantar under the banner of “We the People of India” to protest against the CAA and NRC.
Protesters raised slogans demanding the withdrawal of the NRC, CAA as well as the NPR, which was approved by the Union Cabinet earlier in the day. Among the protestors was an engineer named Shugato Banerjee. Shugato complained of heavy acidity and stomach upset and fellow protestors took him to a nearby hospital.
On investigation by the doctor it was found that Shugato had had 44 cups of tea during the protests. There was a Sikh guy who was continuously feeding tea and snacks to the people. Shugato had never had this much tea in his life.
The Sikh guy was obviously doing it as a goodwill gesture but he did not realize that so much tea can be harmful to someone’s health. But it was proved that the Sikh guy has a golden soul when he decided to distribute antacid tablets along with the tea. I mean who does such selfless service in today’s world.
