India seems to have a really tough time as amidst the rising Covid cases, Tauktae has turned into an extremely severe cyclonic storm. Government is trying hard to fight both at once. However, Shivsena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi lambasted Modi for his poor planning.
Priyanka Chaturvedi said that centre could have postponed Taukate when everyone knows that we are dealing with the Covid. “Did we really need this now? Modi could have postponed it. Taukate came as a surprise like lockdown and it shows that centre has no plans.”
Sources suggest that Centre is mulling over postponing or banning Taukate for atleast six month and the ban will be revoked only after 50% of the Indians are fully vaccinated.
