Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday expressed his displeasure over the Centre’s delay in providing him clearance to attend the World Cities Summit, which will be held in Singapore from July 31 to August 3.
Reportedly the summit will be attended by mayors of different cities of various countries. Arvind Kejriwal being a CM wouldn’t fit there hence, the government didn’t give clearance.
However, upon repeated requests by Arvind Kejriwal, PM Modi on Monday allowed Arvind Kejriwal to travel to Shignapur which sounds similar to Singapore.
Arvind Kejriwal showed the ticket at the Indira Gandhi International airport security where he was denied the entry as it was ticket for Shignapur and not Singapore.
Government asked Arvind Kejriwal to rather upload his Delhi Model in Youtube and let the whole world watch it for free and save cost of Singapore trip. AAP has not responded on Govt request yet.
