Photo of 1971 Pakistan Surrender Removed from Army HQ to Make Space for New “PoK Surrender” Photo
Five days after the news broke about the removal of the iconic 1971 photo of Pakistan surrendering to India from the Army Headquarters, the Indian Army has clarified that the photo is being removed to make space for a new “PoK Surrender” photo.
Speaking to The Fauxy, a government official stated, “This time, the picture will be bigger, as many Pakistani soldiers, leaders, and terrorists will surrender as soon as the Modi government completes six months.”
However, the Opposition has expressed apprehension, alleging the government might use AI to generate the PoK surrender photo, as the Modi government’s six months are already over, with no apparent steps taken toward reclaiming PoK.
