Protests have surfaced in various parts of the country against the Citizenship Amendment Bill which provides Indian citizenship to persecuted minorities of our 3 neighboring nations Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.

Many people are mixing this bill with the National Register of Citizens, NRC (although it has not even been implemented yet) and saying that they will not show their papers to the government.

A person’s video got viral in which he was reciting the lines “hum kagaz nahi dikhayenge” to protest against NRC. It was later revealed that the same person didn’t let guests enter at his wedding without the invitation card.

Many of his friends who didn’t bring the invitation card thinking it’s their friends’ wedding were kicked out of the wedding venue. However it is ironic that the person who didn’t let his friends enter in his wedding without the invitation card now wants the illegal immigrants to come to this country without any proper documentation.
