Pakistani Students In Palestine Refuse To Come Back, Say Palestine Still Safer Than Pakistan

The families of hundreds of Pakistani students stuck in Palestine following the Israel retaliation to Hamas attack are urging their government to help bring them home. However, a majority of these students aren’t willing to come back.
Speaking to The Fauxy, a Pakistani student stranded in Palestine said “It’s all missile dropping and bombing happening here, it feels like home. Despite a full fledged war we feel safer here than in Pakistan”.
Media reports say more than 200 students have been stuck in Palestine and Gaza since the Israel retaliation after Hamas attack.
“We thought of evacuation process but when the students didn’t show willingness to come back we took another 500 students and dropped them in Palestine.” said Pakistan External Affair Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi.
“It’s okay if these students feel safer in palestine than in Pakistan, we have 200 less people to feed” said Pakistan PM in a press conference.
