Big news is coming in from Pakistan hours after Modi government notified the rules for the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).
Reportedly, Pakistan has not only criticised the CAA but has also announced vehement oppose of the law by stopping the persecution of Hindus and Sikhs with immediate effect.
Speaking to The Fauxy Pakistan’s correspondent, Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif said “CAA is to give Indian citizenship to relishiously persecuted Hindus and Sikh, what if we stop their persecution, the Act will become useless”.
This isn’t the first time Pakistan has thrown a Uno reverse. Earlier, during Ukraine Russia conflict when several European nations imposed sanctions on Russia, Pakistan also imposed the sanctions on Russia and refused to repay the loan. Read here.
