Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set a trend by calling and speaking to Indian athletes participating in the Tokyo Olympics. Other countries’ PMs are now following the suit. Reportedly, Pakistan PM Imran Khan too wanted to talk to athletes but got reminded of ISD call rates.
Upon meeting with senior Pakistan officials, Pak PM decided to give missed calls to Pakistan Athletes and wait for their call back. However, the decision didn’t bear results as athletes too gave missed call back waiting for the call.
PM Imran Khan has now announced free lunch for all the athletes on 14th August, Pakistan’s Independence Day, in just 499 Rūpiyah.
