NDTV to further lower its reporting standard to hurt Adani, who has acquired an indirect stake of 29.18% in NDTV

Two days ago, Adani Group acquired 29.18% stake in NDTV, and said it will launch an open offer to buy another 26% in the company, boosting its media investment.

However, the founders of NDTV are opposing the acquisition and said that the acquisition was executed without their consent.

NDTV founders Prannoy Roy and Radhika Roy, who continue to hold 32.26% stake in NDTV, are known for their stand against capitalists like Adani and Ambani.

The Fauxy sources suggest that NDTV anchors have been asked to further lower the reporting standard to hurt Adani and the share prices of Adani group. To ensure the poor reporting standards, NDTV is reportedly calling many of its ex-employees including Burkha Dutt. NDTV is also planning to give Ravish Kumar a 12 hours slot everyday.
