Mumbai Man Sells His Car To Buy The Parking Lot

Despite the pandemic and the successive lockdowns the property rate doesn’t seem to go down. Even 1bhk in Chembur has crossed ₹1.5 crore excluding ₹35 lacs of car parking. Builders are playing smart by adding the parking area in the flat’s carpet area and presenting bigger area to the potential customers.

A man also got trapped in this scheme of a builder who has his property in Powai. Shantanu, 29, banker in Crisil decided to buy the flat in Powai and made all the arrangements including the home loan however at the end moment builder told him that parking area has to be bought separately. It was too late for Shantanu who had paid token amount. After left with no other option, Shantanu sold his new Tata Harrier to partly pay the parking lot.

After all the process was done, Shantanu realised that although he has parking area but no car to park after which Shantanu bought two mattresses making it a small room like area.
