Big news is coming in from Mumbai, where Mukesh Ambani has reportedly requested the short-seller group Hindenburg Research to release a report on his company, Reliance Group. This request comes after Gautam Adani surpassed Mukesh Ambani to become the richest person in India following a report released by the same company on Adani Group.
A few days ago, Hindenburg released a report accusing the Adani Group and the SEBI chief of colluding together, hoping that the Indian stock market, along with Adani Group shares, would crash. However, no one in India paid much attention, and now the shares of the Adani Group have surged up to 14%, making Gautam Adani not only India’s but Asia’s richest person. This has led many businessmen, including Ambani, to believe that a Hindenburg report is the secret behind Adani’s growth, so much so that even NSE has requested Hindenburg to release a report on it ahead of its IPO.
Fauxy sources suggest that “after enjoying the title of India’s richest man for most of his life, Mukesh Ambani is frustrated after being overtaken by a first-generation billionaire and has even accused Hindenburg of playing favoritism towards Gautam Adani“.
Currently, all businessmen in India, whether big or small, are queuing up outside the Hindenburg office with request letters, asking for a report to be released on them as well.
