Kerala Customs has reported that they have caught more people smuggling silver in their rectum than gold this year.
Reportedly, due to the exponential rise in silver prices, people who used to smuggle gold from Dubai are now smuggling silver, prompting authorities to check for silver in each and every suspected rectum of passengers getting off flights from Dubai.
Speaking to Fauxy, a smuggler said, “Gold used to give me some profit, but by the time I take the silver out of my rectum, the prices have already doubled. If things continue like this, I’ll soon have my own private jet for smuggling.”
Currently, Customs has accidentally caught a gold smuggler, and instead of taking gold, they are demanding silver as a bribe.
