Everything Modi does or does not do invites criticism from the opposition. The opposition which has been left disunited and shattered by the Lok Sabha elections tries to find controversies in all things.
There were allegations that Modi doesn’t wear skull cap. Then there were allegations that he doesn’t wear the Indian cricket team’s cap when cricket is the religion in India.
Today Modi invited yet another controversy when he refused to wear the Santa Cap. Opposition leaders called a press conference and conveyed to the media that children are so fond of Santa Claus dressed in full getup and so Modi has insulted the children of India by not wearing the Santa Cap.
Congress leaders in fact did a road march where their leaders were wearing Santa caps imported from ‘China’ and they also gave the slogan that government should ban the Chinese goods as it is killing the local economy.
