The worldwide Windows outage on Friday caused a lot of Windows users to get stuck and spend more of their precious screen time on Windows trying to repair it. The screen time, which is reserved mostly for their phones or TV running Android or iOS, saw a shift. In between, a shocking revelation has been made by anonymous insiders.
If Fauxy sources are to be believed, “Windows user’s screen time was on the decline, with users only using it for office work, which wasn’t possible on their phones. This led to a decline in revenues. So, in a desperate attempt to show shareholders that Window’s condition is improving, Microsoft took down Windows on purpose worldwide. This way, people would spend a lot of time trying to repair it, resulting in increased screen time for Windows, which they could show to their shareholders”.
But due to the hurry in the plan, Microsoft took down all the Windows PCs, including their own. Currently, Microsoft is asking Apple to loan them some MacBooks so they can fix this worldwide Windows outage.
