Man Commits Suicide Due to Low CIBIL Score

An IIT-IIM graduate from Gurgaon committed suicide after being distressed over his low CIBIL score.

The man had been an excellent student and a topper throughout his life, excelling from school to IIT and then IIM. However, he took his own life upon discovering that his CIBIL score was merely “good” rather than “excellent.”

The Fauxy obtained his suicide note, which reads: “I was told board exam results aren’t enough; IIT scores matter. When I cleared IIT, I was told IIM scores matter. Now, after clearing IIM and getting a job, I am told that CIBIL scores matter. All my colleagues have better CIBIL scores. I was even rejected by a girl because of my low CIBIL score. I quit!”

Currently, the man’s family is avoiding the media to save themselves from the embarrassment of their son’s low CIBIL score.
