Save water on Holi, save air from pollution on Diwali, save birds on Makar Sankranti, etc. have become the necessary part of Hindu festival wishes by prominent people who love to identify themselves as liberals.
Not being able to find something wrong in Hindu festivals while wishing has got liberal credentials of many cancelled in past. However, off late even the top liberals have seemed to run out of ideas to find fault in Hindi festivals and ended up not wishing at all.
While many liberals are trying to link it with lack of freedom of speech most have agreed that they have become so habitual using Bhakt, Sanghi, Gobar, Gaumutra as default reply they are losing the creativity to find new faults in Hindu festivals.
