Lenskart Sales Skyrocket As CAs Buy Lenskart Products Only To Break Them And Shoot Boycott Videos

Lenskart Founder, Peyush Bansal has taken marketing ans sales to a next level using Shark Tank India, an Indian business reality television series, stage. Reportedly, Peyush Bansal suggested an entrepreneur to stay away from CAs.

Soon after the episode got aired, CAs started boycotting the Lenskart and to further amplify the boycott trend, many CAs bought Lenskart products only to throw it and shoot the boycott video. Lenskart witnessed 320% increase in it sales within a day and Peyush Bansal is now thinking of offending engineers and doctors.

An entrepreneur learned the business and marketing idea from this incident and presented his startup with ‘boycott business idea’ to Shark Tank India where Peyush Bansal invested whooping 1 crore with 5% equity.
