Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah to Join BJP to escape Investigation by ED and CBI in MUDA corruption scam

Big news is coming in from Bengaluru, where Siddaramaiah is likely to join the BJP to escape investigation by the ED and CBI after the Karnataka High Court refused to stop his prosecution in the MUDA land corruption case.

Siddaramaiah is accused of benefiting his wife illegally by allotting land to her using his power as CM in the MUDA land allotment scheme. As soon as he was accused, pressure began to come from the Karnataka opposition as well as from his own party to resign.

To retain power, Siddaramaiah went to court, believing their ecosystem would help him, but the Karnataka High Court refused to stop the investigation. With no way out, BJP’s impeccable track record of investigations being dropped against corrupt politicians once they joined them attracted Siddaramaiah’s attention, and he decided to join the saffron party.

Speaking to The Fauxy, Siddaramaiah said, “Everyone has turned against me like I am the first politician in Congress to be accused of corruption and not even our PM Rahul Gandhi came to my rescue. So, I decided to join the BJP because I don’t want to become another Kejriwal.”

Currently, the BJP is buying a washing machine to gift it to CM Siddaramaiah as a gesture of goodwill.
