Kangana Ranaut’s Thalaivii Not Released In Theatres As It Could Have Flouted Covid Norms, Unlike Taapsee’s Haseen Dilruba Which Made People Keep Safe Distance With Theatres

Taapsee Pannu starrer Haseen Dilruba was released in theatres in the start of July when the country just came out of second covid wave and the theatres were open, however, surprisingly now when the situation is totally in control (except in Maharashtra and Kerala) major multiplex chains have refused to screen Kangana Ranaut starrer Thalaivii.

Upon asked about the partiality in showing one movie while avoiding other, what a multiplex owner told was absolutely new to us. It was learned that the multiplex owners are scared the movie is gonna attract huge crowd which will flout covid norms while in case of Taapsee’s movie they were sure of very less crowd and covid norms will be followed by itself.
