Judge extends jail sentence of a food blogger who gave good reviews to jail food

A judge from the Allahabad High Court extended the jail sentence of a food blogger after he gave the jail food 4 out of 5 stars.

The judge, fearing that many people might be allured by his good review and start committing crimes just to come to jail and taste the food, asked him to change his review. But, when he refused, the judge extended his sentence by six more months to put pressure on him.

Speaking to Fauxy, the food blogger still refused to change his review and said, “I survived four years on college mess food, which was worse than any jail imaginable. So, this type of pressure won’t make me compromise with my journalistic integrity.”
