Off late a lot of companies have been called out for their anti-Islamic stand. A recent addition in the list is Netflix, who has also been targeted by Elon Musk for being too woke. Netflix has been exposed by an Islamic rights activist, Disha.
“Despite knowing that Islam permits a man to have four wives and multiple children from each wives, Netflix allows only five logins in one subscription. This is nothing but Islamophobia” told Disha to The Fauxy.
Disha in her PIL filed in the Supreme Court writes that Netflix allowing only five logins in one subscription indirectly promotes small family, which is a new trend by Islamophobic Hindus. She also wrote that the subscription cost is also anti- Islamic since a majority of Muslims family can’t afford it.
After Disha’s PIL many more activists can forward, demanding a halal certified Netflix.
Reportedly, Supreme Court has allowed the PIL and has ordered immediate hearing of the PIL. For the same Court will be opened on Sunday. Details awaited.
