The people of Indore, since last few years have worked a lot to help their city top the Swacch Bharat list and results are evident too. Various different surveys and researches conducted suggest that the city is one of the cleanest and hygienic cities in the country.
In a recent scientific study, which was performed for no reason at all by Dr. P. Dosa and Dr. C. Kulchhe of Indian Institute of Street Food Technology has shown that Indore’s street food has achieved a benchmark of cleanliness. Now, Indore’s sewage water pani puri is healthier than Delhi’s tap water pani puri.
Although, the reactions we got from different people on streets were very different. Some said that Indore’s cleanliness has not improved but Delhi’s tap water has gone dirtier. Some said Delhi’s tap water is so dirty that Delhi’s pani puri vendors don’t need to add any sewage water to the dish to make it tastier. Indore’s masses seemed quite happy with these new studies.
Delighted by the results some street food vendors of Indore have announced to give free sewage water pani puri to entire staff of Indian Institute of Street Food Technology for lifetime with extra cheese grated on Pani Puri.
As of now, the researchers and scientists at Indian Institute of Street Food Technology are researching about Ahmedabad’s cheese pani puri and Delhi’s new and unique dish Momo puri. Research is in progress and scientists said results will be out soon.
