Big news is coming from California, where an Indian liberal, Arun Ghosh, who left India for the U.S. after Modi’s win, has now left the U.S. for Canada following Trump’s victory.
Before the 2024 elections, Arun announced that he would leave India if Modi won. After seeing Modi’s victory, he actually stood by his words—a rare move for a liberal—and left India for the U.S., fearing that India would turn into a fascist dictatorship.
He experienced similar concerns during the 2024 American elections, where he donated to, endorsed, and actively campaigned for Kamala Harris. However, after witnessing Trump’s landslide victory, he has now left America for Canada, which is currently presenting itself as the epitome of liberalism and wokeness.
Fauxy sources suggest that on the first day of his arrival, Arun was beaten up by Khalistanis—despite being an atheist—simply because he has a Hindu name.
