With 3 Crore COVID-19 shots administered, India’s vaccination drive has become the world’s second-fastest vaccination drive. India has up till now given vaccine to over 71 countries and is currently struggling to find more countries to give its vaccines.
Speaking to The Fauxy, health ministry official said “This is an opportune moment for India to reclaim its Vishwa Guru position and that’s why we are tying hard to help as many countries as we can. However, currently we are running out of countries as we have provided vaccine to almost every country and only Pakistan and China are left.”
Sources confirm that Pakistan too wants Indian vaccines but is ashamed to ask as it has nothing to offer in return except terrorism which is already adversely affected due to Covid restrictions.
