India is truly a secular state and this fact got re-established when a staunch Hindu man from Indore gifted bose speaker to a nearby mosque committee. Appreciating the man’s act, mosque committee offered him free membership. However, the intention behind man’s act was not that noble act and he did it only to get up early for his gym schedule.
Speaking to The Fauxy, the hindu man (anonymous to stay safe) said “I remember Modi ji saying ‘Aapda Ko Avsar Me Badlo’ and I used to get disturbed with morning azan but not anymore, I’ll use that as wake up alarm and that’s why I have gifted the mosque committee loud bose speakers.”
Time and again, Indians have told the world how different religions can live and grow together. Even though the world ‘Secular’ was added forcefully in the constitution during emergency but the people of India have showed that they are inherently secular.
