Every year, International Women’s Day is observed on March 8 to celebrate women, their rights and their achievements. It was first celebrated in the 1900s, the day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality. Men celebrate the day by giving special respect to women especially on this day, however, every person has his/her own way to celebrate it.
Samir, 34, has taken a day off to surprise his wife. Reportedly, Samir took off from domestic violence and decided not to abuse or beat his wife today. Samir’s wife Mehak was surprised to see his changed behaviour and cooked delicious dishes for lunch. Samir despite Mehak not putting salt in the vegetable didn’t do any wrong and is patiently waiting for the clock to hit 12 of midnight. Samir not only surprised his wife Mehak, but also the neighbours who were expecting heavy noises and had to sleep peacefully.
“I ran to the kitchen when Samir took the knife but he totally surprised me as he used the knife to cut the cake. I am so happy today.” Said Mehak
“Samir has set an example for many who beat their wives everyday, if Samir can respect women why can’t we?” told Samir’s friend to The Fauxy.
