Himachal Pradesh Congress government asks for a loan from the Centre to celebrate its two year rule
As the Himachal Pradesh Congress government completes two years in power, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has requested a loan from the Centre to celebrate the milestone as they don’t even have enough funds for the celebration. Initially, they approached a bank, but due to their significant outstanding debts, the bank refused to lend further. Speaking to The Fauxy, CM Sukhu said, “The entire Congress party couldn’t believe we managed to stay in power for two years; this calls for a celebration.” However, when questioned about the state’s bankruptcy and mounting debts, Sukhu responded, “We are certain we will be out of power in the next election, so it’s a problem for the next government. We are enjoying while we can.”
