Hijab Round to be Added in Miss Universe Contest After Harnaaz Sandhu’s Interview

In an interview the Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu appealed to the society to stop targeting girls wearing Hijab and asked Universities to allow Hijab against the Karnataka High Court order.”Let them live the way they choose to.” said Harnaaz.

Honestly, why do you always target girls. Like, even on the issue of hijab the girls are being targeted. Why don’t you ask boys to wear Hijab instead of banning Hijab for girls” Sandhu said.

Reportedly, soon after the video of Harnaaz on Hijab issue went viral, the annual international beauty pageant organization has decided to keep a round of Hijab. In this round the contestants will be asked to walk on ramp wearing Hijab and the jury will be expected to judge the contestants on their inner beauty.

This will bring equality and we want to give a message that beauty isn’t skin deep. If every contestant wear Burqa then jury can’t have a bias and the winner will be chosen without any partiality“. said one of the core members of Miss Universe.
