Poor network connection of Airtel turned out to be a blessing in disguise for Rohan who was trying to reach out his ex (Ritika, name changed for Rohan’s safety) after two years. “Rohan was drunk when he dialled Ritika’s number but fortunately he had ported to Airtel just a few days back and thanks to the poor connection, the call didn’t get through,” said Rohan’s friend Abhishek who was also there.
Next morning Rohan wrote a series of tweets to Airtel, thanking them for their poor connection which saved him not only from an embarrassing episode but also from the miseries of a future infinite loop of breakups and patch-ups. Rohan wrote, “I wasn’t happy when we were together but once we parted ways, loneliness turned out to be addictive too and that’s why I wish to go back to how things were in the past, but then again if I get connected again, I would want it all to go away.” We are currently unsure if he was referring to his ex-girlfriend or his previous mobile network.
Rohan further wrote “Unlike Maxis, I now have a strong connection with Airtel which is not limited to a physical network connection. They have made a strong statement with their tagline: ‘Pehle sab try karo fir sahi chuno..’ I have personally had many girlfriends but then I realised happiness cums from within and being single and disconnected from the world is far better.”
