New controversy is unfolding around Gukesh’s win, as his opponent in the final match of the Chess World Championship, Ding Liren, has accused him of taking external help.

Gukesh will pay almost half of his 11 crore rupees prize money to Nirmala Sitharaman, and she has decided to receive the prize money together with Gukesh so she can get her share faster, prompting his opponent to believe she helped him in some way.

Fauxy sources suggests that, “Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu’s Chief Ministers Chandrababu Naidu and M.K. Stalin have also claimed that they helped Gukesh and are demanding to share the stage with him and Nirmala Sitharaman, making his opponent’s case even stronger“.
