Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has decided to hike GST on podcast mics by 200% after observing new podcasts popping up like mushrooms every day.
Speaking to The Fauxy, Nirmala Sitharaman said, “This move will turn even these useless unemployed podcasters into useful, tax-paying citizens.”
However, podcasters inviting BJP leaders on their podcasts will receive a special discount.
