On Monday night, Oil futures collapsed to below zero for the first time ever as the deepening economic turmoil caused by the coronavirus crisis left traders desperate to avoid taking delivery of physical crude. News lead to multiple reactions and bizarre cases across the world.
Among all the cases, the most interesting one was from South Delhi where a girl broke the lockdown to get her car fuel tank filled and instead of paying at the petrol started demanding money. After an altercation with the service boy, the girl asked him to bring the manager. Manager intervened and tried to convince the girl that this is not how the trade happens. The girl showed her the tweets by many news channels that crude oil has plunged below zero.
Failed to convince the girl, the manager paid from his pocket to the service boy and let the girl go. Details awaited.
