Female Employee Resigns seeing the WFH circular as she had no idea how to work without taking colleague’s help

As the coronavirus spreads across other parts of Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and the US, employers are asking their workers to work from home as a measure against the rapidly-spreading disease. While a majority of employees are happy about it, a few aren’t liking it.

A female employee of Deloitte, Sneha Chaturvedi, has resigned saying she’s unable to focus on her work. However, the investigative journalists at The Fauxy found something fishy and did research to find out the real reason. It was learned that Sneha used to un-officially delegate her work to her colleague, Amit who always had a crush on her. Amit was doing her work apart form his own work. Amit told The Fauxy “Yes, I used to do all her work and in return she used to say good morning to me, she’s very pretty and her daily good morning means more than the monthly salary to me, and you never know shayad de bhi de kabhi..”

Sneha doesn’t know even basic MS Excel functions and tried to call Amit to take his help but the ‘cough message’ before the call scared her of Coronavirus and she hanged up. Having no other option she then took her boyfriend’s help to write a resignation letter.
