Fat woman detained by police after police mistaken her for gathering of four people. #Section144.

Seeing the increasing intensity of the protest against Citizenship Amendment Bill, Delhi Police has imposed Section 144 in the national capital in the areas near the Red Fort. Under Section 144, an assembly of more than 4 people in an area is prohibited.

However, this didn’t demotivate anti-CAA protestors and many were seen with placards. A woman was detained by Delhi Police from Red Fort area. After the lady posted about her detainment in the social media, Police was forced to give clarification as the lady was alone.

Delhi Police told The Fauxy reporter that the lady was unusually fat and that’s why the police personnel at the location mistaken her for a gathering of four people and hence detained her. Details awaited.
