Modi govt seems to have crossed all the limit of fascism by conducting Income Tax raids at some of its critics house including Taapsee Pannu, Anurag Kashyap and his partners who launched the now-shuttered production house Phantom Films on Wednesday. Reportedly, Income Tax department could unearth mere ₹350 Crores (less than 0.000000000000001% of India’s GDP) of tax evasion.
“The amount is so small that it shows it’s nothing but a political vendetta. Who the pay taxes, it’s not that something hidden we said it loud and clear that if Modi is in power we won’t pay taxes” reads Taapsee Pannu’s befitting reply to one of the social media users who alleged her of tax evasion.
“You call it scam I call it contributing to informal economy which contributes to over 80% of India’s economy” said Anurag Kashyap to the Income Tax department.
