India saw a new vaccine record as it surpassed the United States in total number of doses administered so far. After yesterday’s PM Modi’s Mann Ki Baat, people who were hesitant to take vaccines are coming out in large numbers now. However, there are still a few who are turning up at vaccination centres but not getting vaccinated for their personal reasons.
In a similar case an engineer, didn’t get vaccinated despite reaching the vaccine centre. The engineer had booked the vaccination slot himself and chose the vaccination centre himself.
Speaking to The Fauxy, the engineer said that he saw multiple photos doing rounds on social media where very good looking nurses are administering vaccine doses to people, but in my case there were no female nurses, let alone good looking. I have booked a different slot at a different centre now.
