Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk and the musician Grimes have had a second child, a girl they named Exa Dark Sideræl Musk — although the parents will mostly call her Ψ(x,t) = Acos(kx-ωt).
The 33-year-old Grimes said the baby was born in December, in an interview published Thursday by Vanity Fair. The magazine reporter said he heard what sounded like a baby crying upstairs during the interview at Grimes’ home in Texas and Elon Musk was heard screaming the equation of a travelling wave. Later, Grimes confirmed that, yes, she was a mom again.
Interacting with the media, Elon Musk said he’ll soon explain how to pronounce the name Ψ(x,t) = Acos(kx-ωt) in any of his upcoming interviews. He also asked people and media to manage a little tougher name Exa Dark Sideræl Musk meanwhile.
“I love this equation and I keep saying this, Grimes also knows this equation. If we give any other name to our second child Grimes will have to remember another equation. Hence, we decided to call our second child Ψ(x,t) = Acos(kx-ωt)” told Elon Musk to The Fauxy.
