Death Of Democracy: Murder Convict Suffering From Acidity Denied Bail

The Supreme Court on Thursday denied bail of jailed Murderer. The court was hearing a bail plea on health grounds moved by Murderer’s lawyer Asthana. The matter will next be heard on March 17.

The vacation bench of three senior Supreme Court judges also said that the Murderer be given eno of issue persists but acidity can’t be a ground for bail in a case of murder.If jailers find it necessary they can go for medical assessment. 

Appearing for the Murderer, senior advocate Shant Bhushan said “his acidity is due to his obesity which is due to his over eating, he should be given bail or a treadmill so that he can walk after meals. Denying him bail would mean death of democracy”.
