Court Allows Movie Makers To Hurt Hindu Sentiments; Says If Not Allowed They Will Join Terrorist Organisations To Exercise Their Hatred

Hearing the criminal complaint against the makers of Saif Ali Khan starrer web series ‘Tandav‘, The High Court on Tuesday said that the makers be allowed to hurt Hindu sentiments because if they aren’t kept busy they might end up joining terrorist organizations.

Earlier multiple criminal complaints were filed under Section 200 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) seeking summoning, and punishing of the makers and the actors, alleging that the web series is provoking communal disharmony and is hurting the sentiments of Hindus. The High court while hearing the case said that the portion which insults Hindu Gods has got nothing to do with the rest of the script and doesn’t add any value to the story either. It only shows how much hatred the makers and actors have in them and if they aren’t allowed to blurt it out they may end up taking some radical steps like joining a terrorist organization to express the hatred more openly.

I am shocked! Court says we will join terrorist organizations.. tell me which facility Bollywood has failed to provide that Al Queda or Jaish-E-Mohammad or ISIS can provide?” said one of the actors of the show while reacting to the court proceedings.
