Delhi: A large group of MLA candidates belonging to the Congress have been shifted to resorts in MP, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan on Friday evening amidst fears of poaching by the BJP President Amit Shah in an attempt to cobble up numbers in favour of BJP.

Candidates aren’t allowed to keep their phones with them and network jammers have been installed in and around the resort. Seeing the exit poll results, Ahmed Patel took the decision in congruence with the Party President Rahul Gandhi. Ahmed Patel also added that the candidates have to bear their expenses and the ones who win shall get the expenses reimbursed.

“This is how a party should be, true to its name – Party. It’s weekend and we are already in resorts” said one of the candidates.
