Getting a vaccine slot for COVID-19 vaccination has become a tough task as India continues to battle the second wave of coronavirus. Now, NIT student of chemical engineering third year has developed a vaccine himself.
Speaking to The Fauxy, Nitin Rathore, said “I was waiting for the vaccine slot availability in Cowin app and had to be online all the time, while I kept the cow on tab open I did some research on vaccine and found out the chemical formula. I went to the lab and made the vaccine myself. I have vaccinated over 120 people now and all are alive as of now”.
Government is now calling it phase 1 trial of the vaccine, Nowin, as called by Nitin Rathore, and as per number of people survive the vaccine will be given urgent approval and people can register themselves for Nowin vaccine through Cowin App.
