On Thursday the Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE) released the class 12th results for all regions. The total percentage for the country is 83.4% and joint toppers are Hansika Shukla and Karishma Arora who scored 499 out of 500 marks. Like every year, girls have outperformed boys this year too.

The Fauxy spoke to both the toppers. While Karishma Arora was seen celebrating the result, Hansika Shukla was totally devastated and termed the results as biased.

Hansika told The Fauxy, “I can’t believe this, I calculated my paper and I am damn sure that there’s no scope of losing even one mark, I am going to apply for re-evaluation, I am sure my marks will improve!”

Hansika’s father, who’s a lawyer has also supported her and hinted that he might go to court if CBSE rejects her application for re-evaluation. Hansika’s friends are calling her decision as just an attention seeking step and said that she should be happy about topping the country.

As rumour has it, Hansika’s relatives are allegedly hoping that she loses some more marks in the re-evaluation instead.
