In a turn of events, Mallikarjun Kharge made a last-minute entry to the contest of Congress President Post. Now it’s a direct contest between Mallikarjun Kharge and Shashi Tharoor, after former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Digvijaya Singh Friday backed out of the race.
A day after the last day of nomination, various psephologists have started analysing which way the political wind is going. C-Voter is the first to announce its opinion poll. Reportedly, C-Voter has claimed that Congress is very likely to lose its congress presidential election as all its leaders are busy elsewhere.
“With its main and the most popular leader busy uniting India after saying India is a union of states, Congress is likely to lose its presidential election. Congress must unite its own leader before it starts uniting India campaign” said one of the political experts.
Another Political expert said that IB report suggest that one of the Congress President nominees is secretly campaigning for the other nominee as he doesn’t want this responsibility.
BJP on the other hand said that Congress losing its presidential election is inevitable and it must choose a BJP leader to win the election.
AAP leader and MP Sanjay Singh accused Congress of helping BJP by deliberately losing its presidential election.
