The sales of treadmills have seen a sudden and incredible demand over the last few hours right after BJP President Amit Shah was confirmed as the new Home Minister of India. The demand is specifically high in Delhi, West Bengal, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan & some parts of Andhra Pradesh.
On condition of anonymity, a leading retailer in New Delhi disclosed: “Most of our buyers are from the Congress party & Aam Aadmi party-ruled states. ‘Dilli ka Malik’ has alone ordered 10 new treadmills for all of his party leaders. He says that his ‘health expert’ friend has also been receiving calls from opposition leaders about the alternative for morning walks.”
Delhi government sources are saying that the process of CCTV installation in Delhi, one of AAP’s major campaign promises which had fallen flat, has suddenly revived. Seeing the buzz around Amit Shah’s cabinet portfolio the high command itself has ordered to install these cameras immediately, first near parks & jogging tracks.
Meanwhile, an official at the Home Ministry has issued a notice that encourages everyone to adopt a healthy lifestyle by taking up regular morning walks.
