NEW DELHI : After BharatPe founder Bhavik Koladiya, the other founder, Shashvat Nakrani, has also sued the startup’s co-founder and former managing director Ashneer Grover over “unpaid shares”. BharatPe is running short of founders to sue Ashneer Grover and to address the issue, BharatPe is reportedly hiring another co-founder.
BharatPe on Saturday posted a job offer on LinkedIn for ‘Co-founder’ and the only skill it asked for is “Ability to sue Ashneer Grover”. However, despite economic slowdown and job cuts, BharatPe is struggling to find a co-founder with the mentioned skillsets.
During the past five months, Grover and his wife have been the subject of five lawsuits as well as relatives seeking crores in damages. BharatPe also filed a criminal complaint against Grover and his family with the Economic Offences Wing of the Delhi Police, alleging criminal breach of trust, conspiracy, cheating, forgery and destruction of evidence.
Sources suggest that BharatPe canteen manager is also likely to sue Ashneer Grover for Rs 484 bill pending and not acknowledging his BharatPe payment request.
An engineer from Gurgaon has built a startup only to sue Ashneer Grover in one click. The startup-founder is likely to appear in third season of Shark Tank India to raise funds for his startups.
