Arvind Kejriwal Cancels Meeting Due To Lack of An Un-Ironed Shirt, Wife Sunita Kejriwal Takes The Blame
On Saturday, due to unavoidable circumstances, Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had to cancel an important meeting with some foreign delegates. The Aam Aadmi Party leader was scheduled to meet envoys from France, Sweden and Denmark to talk about new methods to be adopted to make Delhi’s Mohalla Clinics better than what they already are. The meeting was called off a few hours before the schedule as Arvind Kejriwal’s wife Sunita Kejriwal was unable to find any dirty, un-ironed and wrinkled shirt for the CM to wear.
However, as per sources, the meeting has been re-scheduled for a day after tomorrow since by then one of his well-ironed shirts would collect dirt and turn shabby. “Arvind Kejriwal carries the style and attitude of an Aam Aadmi all the time so as to remain grounded and be constantly reminded of his humble roots. There’s nothing wrong in looking poor,” said AAP spokesperson Raghav Chadda.
“If he really wants to look poor he should join Congress since post-demonetisation we have started to look poor naturally and do not have to put in any effort like Arvind Kejriwal does,” said one of the Congress leaders, who wishes to remain anonymous.
This is not the first time that Kejriwal has stretched too far to connect with ordinary citizens. The common man’s leader is quite the open book in Indian politics and has no shame in accepting his reality. Recently in order to promote awareness around diseases, mosquitoes and pests, Arvind Kejriwal without thinking twice selflessly posed for banners.
