Since the release of Apple’s latest iPhone 14 range, last month shoppers have been itching to get their hands on one of the new handsets. Demand has been so high in fact that the delivery times are pushed back on many new devices including the Pro Max model.
Seeing the unavailability of the iPhone 14 range, Apple has decided to delay its slowing old iPhones’ process by at least a month. “The slowing of old iPhone 14 process will start from 1st week of November when enough iPhone 14 are available at apple stores“. said the India head of Apple.
“This is the first time when the slowing process has been delayed as India is manufacturing iPhone 14 and availability of those iPhone will take a month. Previously the slowing process would start within a few days of Apple Event” told Vishal Cook, sales head of Apple India to The Fauxy.
Reportedly, the new iOS upgrade will slower the old iPhone by at least 20% to frustrate the iPhone users forcing them to either buy iPhone 14 range or switch back to android. Camera blur of around 10% will also be included in the next iOS upgrade.
