Twitter recently removed the legacy verified blue checkmarks from accounts nearly a month after announcing that users will have to buy a Twitter Blue subscription to retain the coveted tick. Several high-profile celebrities, film stars, politicians, and sportspersons also lost the blue tick. Among them also included Shaadi.com founder and Shark Judge Anupam Mittal who earlier had a verified account on Twitter, but has now lost his badge.
Expressing his displeasure Mr. Mittal tweeted ”Am canceling my planned purchase of a Tesla … ticked off,’‘. Later, Anupam Mittal tried to bargain with Elon Musk and offered him free Shaadi dot com subscription in exchange of Twitter Blue.
Elon Musk who has been married twice and divorced thrice is a potential customer for Shaadi dot com. However, Elon Musk hasn’t responded to Anupam Mittal’s offer like mnay of the Shark Tank India contestants.
Some sources suggest that to avoid $11 per month, Anupam Mittal is coming up with his own social media platform and buy Tesla in 2029 with those saved $11 per month.
