Singer-composer Anu Malik is being called out on Twitter for plagiarising Israel’s national anthem titled Hatikvah for his song Mera Mulk Mera Desh from the film Diljale.
However, Anu Malik has claimed that it is the other way round and Israel has copied his composition to compose their national anthem. And to prove the same, Anu Malik has filed a copyright infringement case against Israel.
Sources suggest that Anu Malik hasn’t missed any Olympic event, especially the national anthem of participating countries only to check if his musical composition is lifted by any country to compose their national anthem.
The case will be observed and heard by the International Court of Justice since the matter is between two nations. Israel hasn’t commented since the matter is subjudice but has activated its lobby to ensure that win the case.
